Bucket List Wildflower Trip - 1

We spent a week in wildflower country in October 2017 and were awe struck with the beauty and variety of the Creation.

We live in Western Australia which is world famous for the wild flowers which bloom in hundreds of unique species every Spring.

"See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.  Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land" (Song of Solomon 2:11-12).

We love the wildflowers in our lovely sunshine State. There are places here which are world famous. This Spring (2017) we fulfilled one of my great bucket list dreams. We travelled around a quite small part of the central west of Western Australia and delighted in seeing millions of flowers growing wild in huge meadows and along roadsides. So delightful.

Here are some of the very many pictures we took over the 6 days.

Any stop of the car - road sides crammed with wild flowers and native plants - 20 or 25 different pictures in just a short walk. Such variety!
